Once upon a million words

Once upon a million words when men had much to say but spoke with nothing said

My Lord you did not say a word I thought away you hid

Once upon a million words the world left to her sway

You looked and watched heard every word

though idle vain and and blinding men would say

The earth is yours man every breath which vain and blind both speak and breathe

We should all stop and take a  breath  chose your words to breathe

Once upon a million words one day we all will bow and come

stand before the king of kings whose words we shunned for dour

A broken heart contrite in spirit you said you’d not resist

Once upon a million words I come Lord I come like this…
